This is a Part Time Cook position with a wage starting at $15.50+ based on experience, and differentials for weekend shifts. A 401K retirement plan is available. The role involves preparing, assembling baked goods, cooking, seasoning, and portioning food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors of the designated facility, adhering to menu and dietary requirements. The cook is responsible for maintaining food quality standards, sanitation, and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas. This position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills to work with many internal customers in a dynamic culinary environment. The cook will follow standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines, document critical steps, and operate various kitchen equipment. An understanding of food safety, basic math, and recipe comprehension is necessary. The role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
