About The Position

Genetec is currently looking for a motivated, engaged and enthusiastic person to fill a Cook position. Under the supervision of the Executive Chef, the candidate will be asked to provide support to the food service, in accordance with Genetec’s philosophy and policies. We are looking for a team player ready to take on new challenges in an extremely dynamic company that is a great place to work!

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in a food service
  • Know food hygiene and sanitation techniques
  • Have an approach based on customer service, attention to detail, good communication and tact
  • Have a great sense of responsibility
  • Show autonomy, punctuality, dynamism and good judgment
  • Have stress resistance and be in good physical condition

Nice To Haves

  • Hold an attestation or a diploma in the cooking field (secondary or college level)
  • Have MAPAQ Food Handler certification

Responsibilities

  • Participate in preparation and implementation
  • Clean the kitchen material and equipment
  • Collaborate in the meal service for employees
  • Clean the preparation area at the end of the day
  • Follow the work methods and use the designated products and equipment in accordance with the safety, quality, hygiene and sanitation rules and standards in force
  • Perform any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor
