About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is seeking a Part-time Cook to join their team at their senior living community in Plymouth, MN. This is a part-time position that works a mix of full shifts and half shifts within a 32-bed Memory Care + Assisted Living community. The role involves cooking and clean-up, with menus planned in advance. This opportunity is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of older adults and enjoys working in the kitchen.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma.
- Related experience in a Cook, Chef, Dietary Aide, or Server role highly preferred.
- Experience in a Senior Living community highly preferred.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Passionate about the well-being of the elderly community.
- Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction.
- Detail-oriented.
- Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction.
Responsibilities
- Cooking meals according to planned menus.
- Performing clean-up duties in the kitchen.
