About The Position
Elephants Central Kitchen is looking for a Cook to join their team. This is a full-time position with a schedule to be determined, requiring flexibility for early mornings, weekends, holidays, and peak-season hours. The role is based at 1611 SE 7th Ave. Elephants Delicatessen is a locally owned company founded in 1979, known for pioneering the gourmet food industry in the Pacific Northwest. They operate seven Portland-metro retail locations and a catering company. As a certified B Corporation, they are committed to sustainability, transparency, and using business as a force for good, while serving exceptional, scratch-made food rooted in the local community. Requirements
- Current Oregon Food Handler's Card
- Reliable transportation to and from the store

Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with inventory and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.
