About The Position
The Cook is responsible for preparing a diverse menu that incorporates a variety of dietary preferences and accommodates for various restrictions. This role demonstrates dedication to high-quality dietary services while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. The Cook also maintains food service areas, including the kitchen and dining areas, and engages with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, cultivating a warm and supportive environment where the values of love, compassion, and dignity are reflected in every interaction. Continuous learning and development are encouraged through participation in educational seminars and staff meetings.
Requirements
- Must hold current ServSafe Manager certification
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
