About The Position

Northwest Coffee at The Grand Cafe is looking for cooks! We are a locally owned and operated coffee shop in Surprise taking a ton of pride in what we do! We continue to create new and exciting items for our guests! Quality is of the highest priority for us as our passion for taking care of our guests runs deep!

Requirements

Brings a positive, can-do attitude and great work ethic daily
Capable of working with other in a team-orientated environment
Takes pride in the quality of work performed and product created
Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
Able to safely lift and easily maneuver 25 pounds
Reliable transportation is a must

Responsibilities

Prepping & Cooking
Working in a relatively unsupervised manner, so must be able to follow and execute recipes according to the high quality and standards set in place.
Menu knowledge and product specifications
Operating a commercial oven while following recipes
Maintaining a clean and organized work station
A majority of the workload will be baking, portioning, or building our Bakery and Grab-N-Go items
Short order cooking
Safe food handling and food safety knowledge
Passion for delivering high-quality products to our guests
Strong Teamwork values
Food Safety Knowledge and Cleanliness
Following Menu Guidelines and Specifications
Operating and maintaining high-volume work station
