About The Position

Mozz is many things. Mostly, it’s Italian. With a touch of Newport sprinkled in. We are an upscale cheesemaking facility, eatery, pizzeria al taglio, cafe and market that opened in Newport, June of 2022. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team who share our excitement about all things food and specialities. This role involves interaction with our guests in our open kitchen design and you must be present and willing to learn. This is not just another job. We are fueled by connection. Requirements

• Flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends and some holidays, as needed
• Year-round availability preferred
• Ability to learn and follow recipes
• Ability to learn and prep for the day
• Ability to execute service
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be comfortable in an open concept kitchen where there is guest interaction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
• Ability to follow directions and procedures
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Strong to excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work as part of a team
• Some experience needed
