About The Position

GenCare Lifestyle @ The Ballard Landmark is an award-winning senior living community seeking a talented and passionate Line/Prep Cook to join their exceptional Culinary Team. This role involves cooking from scratch with fresh, local ingredients in a kitchen that prioritizes creativity and quality. The community is the only fully Gluten-Free accredited Senior Housing Community in the U.S., and the cook will be trained in gluten-free food preparation. The position offers a good work/life balance.

Requirements

Proven cooking experience, ideally in scratch kitchens.
Passion for fresh, wholesome, and flavorful food.
Team-player mentality with a love for serving others.
Eagerness to learn gluten-free cooking techniques.
Ability to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Must be available on the weekends.
