About The Position

Prepares food and completes related tasks according to quality and safety standards to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve departmental food service goals. This is a temporary position scheduled to go through 5-30-2026.

Requirements

• Experience in preparing food in restaurant or production kitchen
• Experience preparing food and related tasks according to quality and safety Standards.
• High School Diploma

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and non-routine food preparation activities including cook to order and specialty foods
• Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures
• Trains and guides student workers
• Greets customers, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation and associated activities
• Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas

Benefits

• Differential Weekend pay for work performed on Saturday and Sunday $.80 per hours is added.
• Differential night pay, for work performed between 6pm-6am an addition $2.50 per hour added.
