About The Position

Oxbow Academy is seeking a Cook to support students and families through nutritious, appealing meals as part of the Academy’s integrated care services. The Cook contributes to student wellness by encouraging intentional, healthful eating and works as part of the larger team to provide quality service. The position is located in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, and is full-time, Monday through Friday, at $16 per hour.

Requirements

• Current Food Handler's Permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass a criminal investigation background check.
• Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check, if applicable.
• Current Utah driver's license within 30 days of employment.
• First Aid and CPR certification; the employer may provide this.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Resume should include education, work experience, certifications, and licenses.

• Professional culinary experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and clean up meals.
• Follow approved menu options and schedules.
• Maintain the industrial kitchen and its equipment.
• Work as part of a team to provide the best possible service to clients.
