About The Position

This full-time, 1st shift Cook position at Carriage Crossing Senior Living of Champaign involves preparing diverse menus that accommodate various dietary preferences and restrictions. The role requires a dedication to high-quality dietary services, strict adherence to safety and sanitation protocols, and maintaining cleanliness in food service areas, including the kitchen and dining areas. A key aspect of the role is engaging with residents in a compassionate and impactful manner, fostering a warm and supportive environment that reflects values of love, compassion, and dignity. The cook is also expected to participate in continuous learning and development through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.

Requirements

Must hold current ServSafe Manager certification
High School graduate or GED equivalent required
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
