Follow the meal plan designed by Food Service Management, preparing a diverse range of meals that adhere to resident dietary requirements and preferences. Ensure all dishes meet quality and taste standards while conforming to kosher guidelines Assist in managing food inventory by ensuring proper storage of items. All foods must be covered, labeled, and dated appropriately Clean and sanitize all work areas and equipment throughout the shift. Collaborate with dishwashers to ensure that all kitchen and dining items are sanitized and ready for the next service Ability to use a knife and other cooking equipment, understanding temperature and cooking time Work closely with Servers and other Dining staff to communicate special requests or dietary restrictions To be considered for this position, you must meet the requirements and competencies listed above.
