About The Position
A Cook at Montello Care Center prepares hot and cold food items for patients, residents, visitors, and staff; serves food; cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas; and assists with stocking supplies. The role helps provide palatable, nutritious meals for residents in a 50-bed skilled nursing community offering long-term care and short-term rehabilitation. The culinary team works collaboratively to provide high-quality nutritional services. This is a full-time, on-site position in Montello, Wisconsin, with a day schedule. Compensation is $18.00–$21.00 per hour, dependent on experience and employee status. Benefits may vary based on regularly scheduled hours and employment status.
Requirements
- Must work as a team member.
- Enjoy working with the senior population.
- Quantity food production experience.
- Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
