About The Position

Border Foods is hiring a Cook to help prepare and serve food at a Taco Bell franchise restaurant. Team Members help bring the company’s people-first values to life by preparing great-tasting food, providing good service, and representing the brand. The position offers evening and closing shifts; exact shifts vary by restaurant and are scheduled according to each location’s needs.

The role includes preparing ingredients, assembling and packaging orders, checking order accuracy, assisting customers, handling payments, and maintaining clean and safe work and dining environments. The duties may change, and the description is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Requirements

• Availability to work evening and/or closing shifts.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food ingredients.
• Assemble food orders and check that orders are correct.
• Package products.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Know menu items and promotions.
• Greet customers in the restaurant.
• Take orders.
• Handle payments and thank customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe working and dining environment.
• Follow the priority sequence of safety, service, cleaning, and stocking.
