About The Position

Provide excellent and consistent food. Provide a safe and sanitary environment for food handling.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook for at least one year
  • High school diploma, GED or successful completion of 12 grades combined with continued enrollment in early college program
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prepare multiple food items in a limited time frame according to Courtside Grill standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling
  • Reading, verbal, and writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle the physical demands of food preparation and production
  • Demonstrates ability to use a keyboard as may be required to perform the essential duties of the job

Responsibilities

  • Prepare foods according to the recipes and procedures of the Courtside Grill
  • Provide safe handling and storage of food and chemicals as per Health Department standards
  • Assist in food prep, dish washing and sanitation as needed.
  • Work as a team player to ensure efficient and excellent production
  • Provide a clean and sanitary environment for the safe handling of food
  • Assist in solving work area problems by communicating ideas and solutions to supervisor and fellow caregivers.
  • Assist in all other aspects of food service production as needed.
