About The Position

Early Learning Academies (ELA) is seeking a passionate and qualified Cook to join their team at Excel Creative Early Learning. This role is ideal for individuals who are at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have professional kitchen experience, particularly in a school or childcare center setting. The Cook will play a vital role in the community by preparing meals for the children.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Professional kitchen experience
• Background in a school or childcare center setting is preferred
• EDU 119 and 12+ hours of ECE coursework (or currently enrolled and working toward it)
• Experience teaching young children
• A love for teaching young children and supporting their growth
• Ability to meet all state and federal childcare licensing requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for children in a childcare setting.
