About The Position

Little People's Landing Learning Centers is seeking a Cook to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for early childhood education and a desire to positively impact young children's lives. While previous cooking experience, especially in a school setting, is preferred, candidates with any level of experience dedicated to nurturing young minds are encouraged to apply. Some classroom work may be involved, making prior childcare experience a plus. The position operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must meet all state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
• A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.

Nice To Haves

• Previous cooking experience, especially in a school setting.
• Previous childcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for children in a childcare setting.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Adhere to all state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding food preparation and safety.
• Potentially assist in classrooms as needed.
