About The Position

As a cook at Wilmington Treatment Center, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our patients, ensuring policies are followed, and ensuring sanitation standards are followed. We want to make each meal a dining experience for our patients and this position is a large part of that.

Requirements

One-year experience as a cook.
Knowledge of standard practice, procedures and equipment required in the food industry.
Crisis Prevention and CPR certifications (offered on site)
Ability to work with male and female adult (18+) patients with chemical dependency and mental health disorders

Responsibilities

Cook and prepare food according to approved menus.
Direct activities of those who assist in preparing and serving meals.
Take inventory of supplies and equipment.
Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, quality standards, cost parameters, and appropriate regulatory requirements.
