About The Position
As a Cook, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Hearthstone in Pella. You will create delicious meals, work alongside culinary leaders, support specialized diets, maintain high standards of food quality and portion control, and practice smart and clean cooking with proper sanitation and waste control.
Requirements
- Minimum one year cooking experience
- Experience with quantity cooking
- Experience with modified diet

- Culinary education preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes daily using chef-approved recipes.
- Collaborate with Chefs and Food & Beverage Directors.
- Craft meals that meet modified diet plans.
- Monitor food quality, manage portions, and ensure plates meet service excellence.
- Follow proper sanitation and waste control practices.
