About The Position
Guttenberg Care Center is searching for Cooks to join their friendly, caring, and supportive team. This is a Part Time PRN (on-call) position with the potential for part-time hours. The Cook will provide residents with high-quality food, ensuring they receive appropriate food items for each meal according to their dietary needs. This role also involves ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Residents will depend on the Cook's knowledge, skills, and attention to detail for a pleasant and safe dining experience.
Requirements
- As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education.
- Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and ensure residents receive appropriate food items for each meal in accordance with their dietary needs.
- Ensure the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures.
- Follow recipes for preparing large volumes of food.
- Provide residents with high-quality food.
