A Line Cook plays an instrumental role in the operation of the kitchen by preparing a variety of high-quality menu items while maintaining the standards of an upscale steakhouse. Requirements

1–3 years of culinary experience preferred; experience working at one or more kitchen stations.
Knowledge of basic food preparation, knife skills, sanitation, food safety, and proper cooking techniques.
Ability to stand and remain active for 8+ hours per shift while working in a fast-paced environment.
Must be available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items for Bob's Steak & Chop House in a timely manner while prioritizing tasks as needed.
Operate at least one kitchen station (Grill, Sauté, Broiler, Garde Manger, or other assigned stations).
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all workstations, food preparation areas, and surrounding kitchen spaces.
Organize and prepare current and future requisitions to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Communicate menu updates, special requests, and dietary accommodations effectively between shifts.
