This is a SUMMER POSITION for a Cook in the Summer Food Program. The role involves preparing and serving nutritious and attractive meals daily in accordance with the central menu, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained. The cook will also be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and completing necessary records. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong mathematical and reading skills, dependability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The cook must also be ServSafe® certified and certified with SNA.
