Requirements

• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Ability to follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Ability to maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Ability to complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Ability to support dishwashing and dining service as needed

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Cook in a senior living dining setting
• Leadership experience in food production

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
