About The Position
Brookings Health System is a nationally awarded rural community health system, recognized for delivering high-quality care and personalized service. Brookings Health System is a seeking reliable, hard working Cook to join our team to deliver the best possible care! The Cook will prepare assigned food items as needed based on standardized recipe to include but not limited to main entrees, vegetables, desserts and salads.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in a full service restaurant, fast food, or institutional setting
- Serv-safe certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire date
- Must be able to read and follow recipes
- Must have a working knowledge of food service equipment
- Must have basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety
Responsibilities
- Prepare assigned food items as needed based on standardized recipe to include but not limited to main entrees, vegetables, desserts and salads.
