About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Cook for the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center in College Station, Texas. This role is responsible for preparing dishes according to standard recipes and presentations, maintaining a clean and sanitary culinary environment, and performing various kitchen functions as directed. The position requires a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and embodying the company's values of Positivity, Respect, Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence.

Requirements

2-3 years previous culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment
Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it
Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
Requires strong organizational skills
Must be able to work independently
Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
Able to lift at least 50 pounds
At least 21 years of age
Have a desire to exceed expectations
An energetic personality

Responsibilities

Checks with leadership for daily objectives.
Support in setting up any a la carte stations required for mealtimes.
Produces dishes in accordance with standard recipes and presentations established by the Chef.
Preps, cleans, and organizes workstation.
Maintains a clean and sanitary culinary environment in compliance with all local and federal health codes.
Performs banquet, kitchen line, and prep functions as directed by the Executive Chef, Hotel Chef and Sous Chefs.
Completes mise en place before start of service.
To include other duties as assigned.
