About The Position

Chesapeake's is now hiring a Cook to join our team at our Gatlinburg location! We're looking for dependable, hardworking team members who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Cook, you'll prepare high-quality menu items while maintaining the cleanliness, consistency, and food safety standards our guests expect. Line Positions Include: Window, Grill, Salad, Fry.

Requirements

Team player with a positive attitude and sense of humor
Smiles easily and enjoys working with others
Basic math skills and understanding of measurements and conversions
Ability to use a digital scale and food thermometer
Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more with assistance
Able to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the entire shift
Ability to accurately follow recipes and food preparation procedures

Nice To Haves

Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare food for your assigned station according to recipes and specifications
Maintain proper food temperatures and quality standards
Keep your station clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift
Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
Ensure kitchen equipment is operating properly and report any issues
Assemble menu items quickly and accurately
Learn and prepare new menu items and daily specials as they are introduced
Work efficiently with the kitchen team to deliver an outstanding guest experience
