NHC Springfield is seeking an experienced Cook for their beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Springfield, MO. This facility has 146 beds with a home-like environment and a new 30-bed rehab wing. The Cook will perform specified duties to maintain high standards of quality food preparation, production, service, and portion control, using standardized recipes, for all customers. The role fosters an environment of teamwork and provides opportunities in a culinary environment within a healthcare setting. The Cook will assist in receiving and storing food and supplies, review menus and recipes, prepare and serve diets accurately and attractively, follow standardized recipes, test and taste foods for quality, time meal preparation to meet service schedules, and check trays for accuracy before delivery.
