Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of commercial food service or healthcare culinary experience.
• Solid understanding of food preparation techniques, portion control, and kitchen safety.
• Hands-on experience using standard commercial kitchen tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered mindset.
• Dependable transportation and a strong commitment to punctuality and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, cook, and serve delicious food options for patients, visitors, and staff with high standards for taste, presentation, and dietary requirements.
• Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards established by the Department of Health, AHCA, The Joint Commission, and company guidelines.
• Perform routine dietary administrative duties, kitchen maintenance, and equipment cleaning as required.
• Deliver exceptional service to patients and staff by actively listening, answering dietary questions, and accommodating special meal requests whenever possible.
• Assist in guiding and effectively communicating with foodservice staff to maintain smooth kitchen operations and service excellence.
• Maintain a positive attitude, manage working relationships respectfully, and contribute to a healthy, optimistic team environment.
• Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and compliance with all company policies and procedures.
