About The Position
Hamilton Grove Healthcare and Rehabilitation, a 218-bed long term care/Skilled Nursing Facility located in Mercer County, is currently seeking a part-time Cook to join our outstanding dietary team.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- High School education
Responsibilities
- Prepares food for regular and therapeutic diets according to planned menus.
- Prepares food using proper food handling and safety factors.
- Ensures that the proper quantity of food is prepared.
- Makes only authorized substitutions.
- Ensures that all food is prepared and served according to proper time schedules.
- Keeps work area neat and uncluttered.
- Serves food according to the planned menu and according to the specific diet of the patient/resident.
- Ensures that refrigerator and freezer temperatures are maintained in proper temperature ranges.
