About The Position

Aramark is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at a premier hospitality community located approximately 30 minutes east of Pampa, Texas. This position is ideal for individuals with experience as a line cook, prep cook, restaurant cook, cafeteria cook, camp cook, or food service professional who enjoy preparing high-quality meals in a team-oriented environment. This role supports a remote workforce hospitality operation where employees help provide exceptional dining experiences for guests living and working on-site. We are looking for someone who understands the fundamentals of food preparation, takes pride in their work, and can consistently prepare meals safely, efficiently, and according to established recipes and standards. This work location is not in Pampa. The facility is located approximately 30 minutes east of Pampa, Texas. Candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to commute to the worksite daily. Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Prep Cook, Food Service Cook, Restaurant Cook, Camp Cook, or related culinary position required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking techniques
  • Ability to safely prepare food using a variety of cooking methods and kitchen equipment
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, storage, and safe food handling practices
  • Ability to obtain required food safety certifications
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute daily to a remote worksite located approximately 30 minutes east of Pampa, Texas
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical job duties including lifting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food according to established recipes, production schedules, and quality standards
  • Set up and maintain workstations with required ingredients, equipment, and supplies
  • Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and prepare ingredients for meal production
  • Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, grills, stovetops, mixers, slicers, and other food preparation equipment
  • Prepare a variety of menu items using cooking methods such as baking, roasting, grilling, broiling, sautéing, and steaming
  • Ensure food is presented, portioned, and served according to established guidelines
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling procedures
  • Maintain clean and organized kitchen, storage, and preparation areas
  • Monitor food quality and ensure consistency throughout meal service
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and hospitality team members to deliver an excellent guest experience
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Protect company equipment, inventory, and assets
