About The Position

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our ever growing team here at Bingham. You must be willing and able to learn new skills and adapt to change often. Line cook and prep cook position available.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Culinary School or "On The Job" training program equivalent.
  • 2+ years related experience in food preparation, cooking and principles of sanitation and safety.
  • Food handler's certificate (or obtain and maintain a current food handler's certificate within 30 days of hire).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).
  • Ability to follow recipes precisely.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful times.
  • Ability to work well with people.
  • Ability to take direction from Executive Chef and department managers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food for internal and external customers.
  • Ensure food is prepared, served, held, and stored at proper temperatures and under sanitary conditions.
  • Be responsible for overall sanitation of cafe equipment.
  • Perform food production tasks.
  • Adhere to sanitation and food safety standards.
