About The Position
Autumn House West is looking for a hardworking Part-Time Cook to add to our team! We are an in-house operated food service program with established menus and recipes and the flexibility to let staff shine through process and recipe improvement. If you want to make a difference in someone else's life and take your passion in cooking to the next level, please apply! We are looking for a Part-Time Cook to complete our team. Requirements
- Prior Cook experience is required
- To stand on your feet for 8 to 10 hours
- An eye for detail
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in senior living facility preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Knowledge in cooking is a must as we look to elevate the expectations of food service.
- Compassion for elderly and a desire to improve their quality of life is the focus of this food service operation.
- The ability to lead others in a positive way
- To stand on your feet for 8 to 10 hours
- An eye for detail
- Cooks are the leads in the kitchen in the absence of the Chef.
- They are responsible for all staff completing their job in a timely fashion and correct, the closing cleanliness of the kitchen as well as meeting state and local regulations.
