About The Position

The Cook Senior is responsible for the preparation of all meals and snacks, assuring that all meals are prepared conforming to the menu and recipes. All meals must be prepared in a timely manner and presented in an appealing manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Food Handlers card within 5 days of employment is required.
• Knowledge of safe and proper food handling, storage, and disposal practices.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must successfully clear a criminal history background inquiry with BCCU that indicates no felony or conviction on the DSHS Secretary’s List of Crimes and Negative Actions.

Nice To Haves

• One year Long Term Care cooking experience preferred.
