About The Position

Recognized for more than a century as the iconic address for Dallas hospitality, The Adolphus offers timeless culture, vibrant and storied surroundings, imaginative and collaborative food and drink, and immersive experiences. In its reimagining, the 407 room downtown hotel recalls a grand European home. We are in search of passionate personalities to become the face of The Adolphus hotel’s iconic Rodeo Bar. This joint first opened in 1981 and served Dallasites and visitors for nearly four decades. We are now re-opening the Rodeo bar with a new menu, new vibe and back room for private gatherings while honoring the heart and soul of the original concept: “Texas grit and authenticity." This individual is passionate about the connections that can be created over a good meal. Their primary goal is to create an intentional culinary experience that connects guests to the local environment by elevating unique ingredients and flavors.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of related professional cooking experience
• Experience with commercial restaurant cooking equipment
• Ability to follow sanitation and cleanliness procedures
• Great communication skills with both front and back of the house
• Handle a fast-paced cooking environment with ease

Nice To Haves

• Culinary degree or related restaurant experience

Responsibilities
