About The Position

Cook/Manager needed for School food service program in the Washington, NJ area. K - 12 experience a plus. This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, with a day shift of 5 to 6 hours daily. No weekends or holidays are required, and summers are off. The ideal candidate must be organized, able to multitask, and lead in a positive manner. They must also be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools.

• Food preparation
• Cooking

• Following recipes according to the NSLP guidelines
• Stocking
• Ordering
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations
• Ensure Personal protection equipment is used at all times
• Inventories
• Oversee kitchen area and staff
