The cook prepares and serves the highest quality and safest food possible, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills to interact with internal customers in a dynamic culinary environment. The position follows standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines for food preparation and storage, documenting critical steps to ensure food safety. The cook operates various kitchen equipment and must possess an understanding of food safety, sanitation, basic math for measurements, and the ability to read and understand recipes. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and lift and move heavy objects occasionally.
