Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: Follow recipes, portion controls, pars, and presentation specifics as set by kitchen management Set up work station according to established expectations Execute prep tasks from start to finish. Work collaboratively with heart of house staff and front of house staff Maintain cleanliness of all heart of house work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas Participate in deep cleaning of heart of house work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas Restock items as needed throughout the shift Follow set schedule and give appropriate notification for tardiness and absence Conform to Department of Health requirements to run an A-level kitchen The starting range for this position is $20.00. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of culinary experience; luxury hotel and/or high-volume restaurant experience preferred
  • Current Food Handler’s Card Required (within 30 Days of Hire)
  • Working knowledge of professional cooking techniques, knife skills, food safety, and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes with minimal supervision while maintaining consistency and quality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with strong time management skills
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Receptive to feedback with a strong desire to learn, grow, and continuously improve
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs
