About The Position

King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott is hiring a full-time Cook III to prepare restaurant hot and cold items, banquet, outlet, and cafeteria items according to hotel recipes and specifications. The role supports a memorable guest experience and requires a friendly, courteous approach to guests and team members. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

One to two years of related culinary hotel or restaurant experience.
High school education or equivalent.
TB clearance card required.
English-speaking or bilingual.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and make good judgments.
Ability to maintain good team member relations.
Dependable.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
Assist in preparing and cooking foods under supervision.
Mix, cut, and shape dough by hand or machine.
Bake bread, rolls, muffins, biscuits, pies, and cakes.
Assist other team members and departments to support the overall performance of the department and hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.
