About The Position

Deer Valley Resort is seeking a Cook II for the Summer 2026 season. Located in Park City, Utah, the resort offers a diverse and welcoming work environment for individuals of all ages. This role is responsible for assisting the sous chef and Cook III with menu preparation, presentation, restocking, and serving during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous cooking experience.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to lift and carry 25 – 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sous chef and Cook III with preparation and presentation of daily menus.
• Restock and serve selections at stations where lines develop during peak hours.
• Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections in conjunction with the sous chef and executive chef.
• Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, and ensure food selections are well-stocked and appropriately garnished.
• Ensure mise-en-place is in sufficient quantities for the day's requirements.
• Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste.
• Complete daily inventories.
• Assist servers during busy times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
