About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Cook II in our Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center South, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity, primarily working various shift times between 6:30am and 6:30pm. The ideal Cook II candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and proven work history in a variety of stations. Baptist South is serving the rapidly growing neighborhoods in southern Duval and northern St. Johns counties. The hospital blends resort-like amenities with the most advanced medical care, providing for the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of patients and their families.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED - Required
- Serve Safe Food Certification - Required
- Extensive kitchen experience
- Proven work history in a variety of stations
Responsibilities
- Preparing quality food using standardized recipes and proper safety and sanitation techniques
- Serving regular and modified diet hot foods on patient tray line
- Possessing the ability to batch cook
- Following HACCP guidelines
