Join Ithaca Bakery at Ithaca College! Students love having the iconic Ithaca Bakery on campus, and we love providing them with the same fun and delicious experience they can get from any of the Ithaca locations but from the comfort of campus. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week/52-week per year position. The Cook II at Ithaca Bakery is responsible and accountable for the entire sandwich station at this Ithaca mainstay. From prepping ingredients to producing high-quality sandwiches to expediting meals in a timely fashion. Organization, speed of service, and communication are key! The Ithaca College Cook II is responsible and accountable for: Hot food production and running specialty food stations. Accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting various hot and cold food items for various meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events. Cooking and preparing food according to recipes and production guidelines while adhering to food safety, food handling, kosher, and sanitation procedures. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position.
