About The Position

Consistently prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner or hor d'oeuvres to standards established by the Executive Chef. Ensures that work area is kept clean and orderly. Must be able to stand for a full shift. Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members. Any and all duties as assigned by you Supervisor or a member of management.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge and ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other cast members of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Knowledge of weights, measures and recipe yield.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to identify all products used in kitchen operation.
• Ability to recognize spoiled or questionable products.
• Ability to read, comprehend and execute recipes.
• Ability to successfully complete Cook I tests.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the cast member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and taste or smell.
• The cast member is frequently required to talk or hear.
• The cast member is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The cast member must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this Job, the cast member is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course.
