Cook Helper/Cashier
About The Position
STMA Schools is a district serving over 6,700 students and employing more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The district includes one primary school for kindergarten, three elementary schools (grades 1-4), two middle schools (grades 5-8), and one high school (grades 9-12). This position supports the Kitchen Manager in maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The role involves assisting with preparation, serving, cashiering, and clean-up, while ensuring compliance with MN State Department of Education, US Department of Agriculture, and school policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in food service preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the Kitchen Manager in maintaining an atmosphere that is positive and welcoming.
- Assist with the preparation, serving, cashiering and clean up while ensuring the MN State Department of Education, US Department of Agriculture, and school policies and procedures are being met.
