About The Position

Exceptional Care for Children is looking for an individual to join their Food Service Team. Our customers are our nursing, administrative staff, families, visitors, and some residents. ECC is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization committed to providing the highest quality of care and services to pediatric patients requiring transitional, long term, and/or palliative care. We are an around-the-clock residential facility that provides skilled care to medically fragile children, birth to age 21, especially those who are dependent upon medical technology for daily living. ECC simply exists to provide a vulnerable population with as many normal of a childhood experiences as possible, while meeting their needs holistically. ECC has consistently received five-star rating in all categories by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid services, and has been named a Top Workplace in the state of Delaware for 5 consecutive years. Requirements

• Must have ServSafe or be willing to obtain within 90 days
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening

• Experience with preparing therapeutic diets (altered textures)
