About The Position
Just Kids Christian Academy is looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Cook/Floater to join their team. They are a family-owned Christian preschool that has proudly served San Antonio families for over 30 years. They are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, stays organized, and can help create a positive start to each child’s day.
Requirements
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to multitask and work independently
- Enjoys working around young children
- Must be able to pass background check
- Team player with a positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Food service or childcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks
- Follow CACFP meal guidelines and kitchen sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Assist classrooms as needed throughout the day
- Help with opening duties in the mornings
- Support teachers during breaks and transitions
- Create a warm, positive environment for children and staff
