For this 12 month contract we are seeking an individual to take on the role of Cook, Exploration. Your primary mission: to plan and prepare all food production on our site, delivering exceptional meals while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a related environment.
  • Hands-on experience in a high-volume catering setting.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare all food production on site, delivering exceptional meals while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure timely meal preparation and delivery.
  • Manage grocery orders to guarantee the correct quantity and quality of products.
  • Maintain the facilities and equipment in regulatory compliance.
  • Perform meal preparation and cleanup.
  • Plan menus while efficiently managing food and equipment requirements for the kitchen.
  • Check the quantity and quality of received products, reporting any issues to your supervisor.
  • Record production and operational data on specified forms.
  • Estimate the numbers of required supplies, from food to ingredients, and handle ordering or requisitioning to guarantee the smoothest kitchen operation possible.
  • Prepare hot lunch and dinner, as well as continental breakfast items for the following morning.
