Elderwood at Cheektowaga has a unique opportunity on our dietary team as a Cook/Dining Supervisor! This position is full-time and would be scheduled 2-3 days per week as a Supervisor of Dining Services and the remaining days as a Cook, and would work every other weekend. The Supervisor of Dining Services assists the Director of Dining Services with general oversight and management of department operations and personnel. The individual maintains a leadership role within the department, leads by example and ensures regulations, procedures are being followed in the kitchen. The Cook understands that meal times are highlights of daily life, and excellent nutrition and appetite appeal are central to the well-being of residents and patients. Our chefs cook for our residents with weekly rotating menus. Working from our recipes.
