About The Position

Legacy of Delano, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook/Chef to join their growing team. Legacy of Delano is a senior living facility with 51 total units, including Assistant Living, Independent, and Memory Care Apartments. The facility is located in Delano, MN. The company is seeking compassionate individuals passionate about enriching the lives of seniors to help them 'AGE Magnificently'. The Cook/Chef will become part of the family and impact the lives of residents.

Requirements

• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
