About The Position

Legacy of Delano, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook/Chef to join their growing team. Legacy of Delano is a senior living facility with 51 units, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care apartments. The facility is located in Delano, MN. The company's mission is to help seniors AGE Magnificently.

Requirements

• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
