About The Position
The Cook/Chef prepares, presents, serves, cleans up after, and stores well-balanced, delicious meals for residents. The role uses menus designed for seniors and requires adaptability and critical thinking to make changes as needed to ensure resident satisfaction. Encore Senior Living offers a full training program and is willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preparing food from scratch or equivalent is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, present, and serve well-balanced meals.
- Clean up after meal preparation and service, and store food appropriately.
- Use menus specified for seniors and make changes as needed to ensure satisfaction.
